Observation Detailing: Wardrobe

Free hand scaled-drawings of wardrobe with three sliding doors with black color tined glass finish and wooden elements. Detail A shows the joining of shelfs. All the drawings are done in 1:25 scale.

Assembly Drawing

On this week we had a group exercise to find and sketch an assembly drawing of any furniture. My group chose this ESBJORN chair from Ikea which was later on approved for our observation. All the parts of this chair are made of timber and being manually fixed. The photo above shows the plan, side elevation, section and detail drawings including specifications.

Rolling Adjustable Chair

For this task we were required to choose one object per group in class and do the detail drawings including Plan, Elevation, Section, Blow Up as well as a detail drawing specification for each drawing. My group an I picked a rolling adjustable chair for this observation task.
